Recorded live at the Royal Festival Hall’s Southbank Centre, the Philharmonia Orchestra are led by Christoph von Dohnányi in these captivating live recordings of Brahms’ Four Symphonies. The Philharmonia Orchestra is widely recognised as the UK’s finest orchestra with an impressive recording legacy. Christoph von Dohnányi has been principle conductor of the Philharmonia since 1997 and was appointed Honorary Conductor for life in 2008.
