Robin Tritschler

A Prize winner at the Wigmore Hall Song Competition, Irish tenor Robin Tritschler studied at the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the Royal Academy of Music. An imaginative song recitalist, Robin has performed at many leading venues including the Aldeburgh, Hay, and Cheltenham Festivals, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Köln Philharmonie, KlavierFestRuhr, and the Kennedy Centre in Washington DC.

As a BBC New Generation Artist, Robin broadcast extensively with the BBC in recital and on the concert platform, including from the BBC Proms. He has appeared in concert with the London Philharmonic Orchestra under Yannick Nézet-Séguin, BBC Symphony Orchestra with Sakari Oramo, Hong Hong Philharmonic under Edo de Waart, L’Orchestre National de Lyon, Gulbenkian Foundation Lisbon, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, Britten Sinfonia, Rotterdam Philharmonic, Orquesta Nacional de España, Telemann Chamber Orchestra Japan, and Moscow Virtuosi. He has also broadcast in many European countries, including Britten Centenary Celebrations in Denmark, France, Germany, and Spain. 

Robin has appeared with the Royal Opera House (Covent Garden), Welsh National Opera, Angers Nantes Opera, and at the RuhrTriennale.

His expanding discography includes Winter Words with Malcolm Martineau on Britten Songs (Onyx) and Poulenc: The Complete Songs with Graham Johnson (Hyperion).
